Newm Studio is officially live! NEWM, using blockchain technology, aims to disrupt the music industry by removing the overwhelming power of the monopolizing third parties that currently dominate it. Newm Studio is their the first product release in the wider music ecosystem they are developing, which will include features such as music distribution, automated royalty splits, the ability to buy/sell/trade music royalty rights on an open marketplace, an in-app streaming platform, and direct tipping for artists.

Def Jam project The Whales drop new single.

The Whales, a virtual NFT band, recently unveiled their latest track titled "Hunned Racks," featuring rapper Made in Tokyo. Produced in collaboration with Def Jam Records, the project introduces collectible animations through the Solana platform, Drip Haus. Comprising animated characters, The Whales represent a unique partnership with Def Jam. The single showcases rapid-fire verses from Made in Tokyo, complemented by a catchy hook from TKAY MAIDZA, and dynamic beats by TK Does Work and Grammy-winning Leven Kali.
