Showtime is the new friend tech but for musicians?
Showtime proudly announces Creators Tokens, built on Base, a significant milestone following the $ALEX token. With Creators Tokens, one can bet on music creators, and each token grants access to a dedicated channel for uploading audio and photos. Moreover, they will earn 7% on every trade. Keep an eye out for more updates in the next two weeks, as they are beginning with a limited release and will soon open up to a wider audience.
SongTech just launched!
SongTech allows users to bet on songs by submitting Spotify links and earning tokens. These tokens can be held to earn trading fees or sold for profit. Artists can easily claim their earnings through self-custodial wallets. All token holders receive a portion of purchase and sale fees, creating an incentive to be early and buy more tokens. SongTech operates without fees initially and has a phased rollout plan, aiming to create a marketplace for songs and benefit artists and fans. The platform is designed for progressive decentralization and aims to bring new liquidity to onchain music.
Michael Jackson’s unreleased first song is dropping on anotherblock this week.
The Jackson 5 made the official debut in 1968 with "Big Boy" on Steeltown Records. However, the initial rendition of this song was actually recorded in 1967 under the One-Derful Records label. Remarkably, this previously unreleased version is now available for the first time.

3 Types Of Content Artists Should Create.
From The Connected Artist Newsletter #33 by Harriet J.W
“How do we use the content space to develop connected fanbases of people that care?
Let's start by looking once again at the True Fan Funnel:
From now on everything you post should serve one of 3 groups, in 3 different ways.
1. Top of the Funnel:
To attract people who have never heard of you
Awareness Stage: At the top of the funnel, your goal is to create awareness about your music and your personal brand as a musician. Your target audience includes music lovers who may not be familiar with your work yet.
Content Type 1: For this group you should be creating content that introduces you and your music. This could be music teasers or snippets, social media, posts showcasing your daily life, behind-the-scenes videos of your creative process, cover songs etc
2. Middle Of Funnel
To engage your audience more deeply
Engagement Phase: In the middle of the funnel, potential fans are aware of your music, and they're considering whether they want to become more deeply engaged with your work. Your target audience here includes those who have shown interest in your music.
Content Type 2: Lyric breakdown videos, in-depth interviews about your musical journey, email newsletters with updates and exclusive content.
3. Bottom of the Funnel
Turn interested fans into loyal supporters
Conversion Stage: At the bottom of the funnel, your goal is to turn interested fans into loyal supporters. This is where you focus on encouraging fans to purchase your music, concert tickets, merchandise, or support you on platforms like Patreon or Bandcamp.
Content Type 3: Exclusive content for paying subscribers, announcements of new album releases or tour dates, limited-time offers on merchandise, personalized messages to top fans, collaborations with other musicians or brands.”

My Top Picks This Week👇
"Something More” by La Cita
''This song explores the complex space of living between two identities in the United States. Chris and Matt of La Cita, known as "halfies," share mixed Mexican and European backgrounds. Despite different upbringings, they both grapple with feeling "not Mexican enough" for various reasons.''
“U+i HomoTechnoFuture Mix" by Justin Bobby
“This song is an outpouring from my deep held spiritual understanding that We are One. We are the same energy, facets of the One Divinity. Reflections of each other as aspects of ourselves.”
“Into the depths" by Raphael Wildemann
Musical Animation by Tomás Bases & Raphael Wildemann. Medieval Fantasy NFTs Collection.
“The Joy of Sailing Away" by Skeeboo
“This is the opening movement of a three-part instrumental suite from my album "Tableaux Electroniques." It’s the chronicle of a fictional voyage upon the open sea, setting sail into the unknown, coping with moments of homesickness and moments of elated joy. All the revenue from this release will be used to professionally remaster one of the original short pieces.”
“Lately in the Snow" by Nadav
“My album is my life - it’s everything I’ve experienced and seen around me - my relationship with everyone and everything in my world, even myself. I’ve seen blessings and I’ve seen tragedies, seen friends win Grammies and others become zombies, seen some have kids and some pass away.”

AttaBotty is an independent music artist, composer/producer, animator, and social media content creator hailing from Jacksonville, Florida. Influenced by his family's musical talents, he began his life in music at a young age. He pursued a formal music education at Jacksonville University.
In 2020, he rebranded as AttaBotty, sharing his music journey on YouTube and TikTok. As an artist, he aims to share wisdom, fostering mental and existential growth in his audience, hoping to provide others with their transformative "AttaBotty experience."
His career in web3 started in May 2022 with his wife, Da’Nici, where they both came into this space with the hopes of creating animated art pieces infused with deep existential and mythological meaning. Through their work, they aim to stimulate contemplation while shining a spotlight on many overlooked facets of life. Recently, his focus has shifted towards Web3 music. His goal is identical to that of his animated short films: to offer his audience music that is filled with existential and mythological themes, as showcased in his latest project. Additionally, he’s working towards the realization of a live VR performance that integrates audio visuals to help convey the music's message.

Posting content on socials, in general, should never be your entire marketing strategy, with or without tagging folks or spamming comments.
Social media is fine for creating general awareness, but it's BEST utilized for community building.
